Tumaini is a short story that narrates the adventures of a child with albinism in Kilimanjaro. The tale revolves around moral values while telling the story of Tumaini: a boy determined to climb the Kilimanjaro mount in order to switch off the sun. He wants to switch off the sun because he knows it will eventually burn his skin and switching it off will stop his mother’s sorrow.
